EDUCATION THROUGH STRATEGIC EXPERIENTIAL ENVIRONMENTS
TYPOLOGY     CULTURAL
LOCATION      LOS BANOS, LAGUNA, PHILIPPINES
YEAR               2018

Out of an existing structure, the new fully digitized museum would insert and wrap itself within that context - to educate about the present condition of agriculture in the Southeast Asian region and the direction it will take in the future!

Divided into six galleries:

Stair-Milestones, Lifescape, Foodscape, Challenges, Hope, and What Lies Ahead

Each would be tackling specific issues thru well curated transitions and architectural interventions of undulating and free flowing gestures. It will possess an elegant spiral stair that will be sheltered by shadows of crop patterns cast by the iron mesh cladding. This gesture of the weave encapsulates the flow of the museum inside as well as its conversation with its environment.

Symbolizing a common thread amidst diversity, Foodscape would have exhibits forged with diverse material selections to represent the agricultural features of each participating country. which alive thru varied projections - immersing visitors in understanding agriculture and its principle systems. The Hope Gallery features an undulating roof, composed of treated bamboo, to hold the space in a collective whole.

The AGRIMUSEUM hopes to be the catalyst to put forward the importance of agriculture in the and cultural realms; and how through a collective spirit of being be adapted for the future.
