EXPLORATION OF THE INFINITE
LOCATION TAGUIG CITY, METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES
Planets, meteors, and other heavenly bodies are brought closer to earth through SPACE ADVENTURE. Exhibits are organized into three Pods, namely:
Explore Outer Space
Discover Our Solar System
In the first Pod, entitled Explore Outer Space, guests are given a feel of how astronauts train, work, and live as they venture out into the galaxies. They also experience the challenges of balance and orientation within the microgravity environment of space. Kids can also try controlling a space station and communicating with satellites at the Pod’s recreation of the Space Station and Diwata-2 Command Center.
In the second Pod, entitled Discover Our Solar System, visitors are toured around the heavenly bodies beyond the earth’s atmosphere. Interactive displays around the exhibits allow one to learn more about the planets – how they orbit around the Sun, and how weight varies on each one. Replicas of the moon phases, meteorites, and dwarf planets give spectators an idea of their sizes and how they exist in outer space.
In the third Pod, entitled Fantastic Universe, one can learn about their place in the cosmos. Contextualizing cosmology, evolution, written history, and the self. This Pod features exhibits that enlighten guests about the lifetime of the universe, the enigma of black holes, and the possibility of aliens in planets beyond the solar system.
